After phenomenal performances in 2023 at Bord Gáis Energy Theatre with Irish National Opera’s La Bohème and Der Rosenkavalier and a sellout Christmas spectacular in 2022, we are delighted to welcome back Celine Byrne with her Christmas Celebration on Monday 16 December 2024!

Join Celine Byrne for one night only for her “Christmas Celebration” packed full of captivating Christmas Carols and festive orchestrations, with well-known songs from films musicals, and operatic favourites accompanied by the RTÉ Concert Orchestra.

Songs include O Holy Night, Nella Fantasia, Edelweiss, Sleigh Ride, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, Silent Night, and much more…

Celine has performed extensively throughout Europe, the United States, China, Russia, and Mexico, in venues such as Carnegie Hall, New York, the Royal Opera House, and Covent Garden. She has sung with world-renowned tenors José Carreras, Placido Domingo, Roberto Alagna, and Andrea Bocelli.

Celine has also performed for dignitaries such as President Barack Obama, Pope John Paul II, and Pope Francis. Her compelling and thrilling performances have won her the universal acclaim of audiences and critics across the opera world.

This special one-night show will delight both lovers of opera and those who want to embrace the most wonderful time of the year with a host of seasonal songs.
